Easy. Fast. DIY Home Iced Latte

Greetings everybody! Coffee Plz back at it with ANOTHER DIY at home recipe. This time for Iced lattes. Stop spending $4+ on a SINGLE serving of Starbucks or Dunkin' coffee! Brew at home. Make these easy recipes in a few steps! Especially during this COVID-19 crisis we could all save ourselves a little money on expensive coffee servings and brew at home!

Now usually latte's are made with espresso, so if you are like us and don't have an espresso maker do not worry! There's 2 easy fixes to this problem.

1. Use Coffee Plz Cold Brew Blend. It is a dark roast coffee with chocolate, toffee, and floral tones. Because it is a dark roast and brewed strongly, the taste will be very strong and not dilute with ice!

2. Try our 6 Bean Blend . Which is our house blend with espresso in it! Use this blend for hot latte's or iced as well. We enjoy iced drinks much more since we are located in Florida and need a nice chilled coffee brew! Brew the 6 bean blend and chill it overnight for some strong iced latte's.

Now let's get to the recipe.

  1. 1/4 Cup of your choice of Milk
  2. 1 cup of iced coffee
  3. Ice
  4. Flavor syrups or any other flavorings you would prefer

Step 1. Brew your coffee. If you're like us we use as stated before in our last blog we use a french press type cold brew maker for all of our cold brew coffee's. When we brew Hot or Iced we like to use our Ninja coffee maker. Which gives us many options when brewing coffee, including brewing it over ice. If you have just a normal pot that's nothing fancy but is O'l reliable go ahead and brew a full pot, let it chill a bit then put it in the fridge to chill overnight.

Step 2. Put ice cubes in your desired cup and pour coffee over your ice.

Step 3. Froth the 1/4 cup of milk. This can be done with a frother, they're not to expensive. If you are like us and have a fancy coffee maker ours came with a frother. For iced coffee froth the milk till it becomes thick, then pour over the iced coffee. If having a hot latte go ahead and put the milk in a microwave safe mug and heat it up for about 30 seconds. Froth, pour over coffee.

Step 4. Add any flavoring you enjoy with your coffee.

Step 5. Enjoy your Coffee Plz latte.

Congratulations at making your first home latte !

You can always add pumpkin spice, gingerbread, or other sweet seasonings on top of the milk to make your DIY recipes festive!
